Our membership tea enabled friends and neighbors who were interested in serving the community to learn more about our club and its philanthropic efforts. Pictured are Liz Rashkover, Public Relations Chairman, and Dawn Kincaid, President.

The Membership Committee promotes interest in the Brentwood Woman's Club within the community and follows up with perspective members. The names of these prospects come to us from sponsoring members as well as newcomers who have been involved in woman's clubs elsewhere. The Membership Committee mails invitations to prospective members inviting them to attend our regular meetings as a guest, and keeps records of their attendance.

This committee organizes orientation sessions and luncheons, and conducts the new member installation in May. It maintains an accurate record of a member's length of service to BWC, and purchases and presents year pins at the annual May membership luncheon. The committee also provides name tags for visitors at each scheduled meeting, greets newcomers, and introduces them to members during our social time.

The work of the Membership Committee is vital to the substance and quality of our club. The balance of new members and seasoned members is needed to enhance our ability to serve the community. Our goal is to inspire our new members and share the enthusiasm and passion of our seasoned members in an effort to reach our goals. We are all collectively responsible for the great results of our club and our philanthropic endeavors.
