The Arts Department provides a framework for members to pursue a variety of artistic interests while simultaneously educating our communities on the important role art plays in our lives.
The Arts in the Community Program promotes and supports all aspects of the arts in local communities, including art preservation, arts and crafts, and literature and the performing arts.
The GFWC yearly art contests give members an opportunity to explore their creativity in photography, literature, and poetry. GFWC also sponsors annual youth writing contests that are judged on the local, state and national levels.

The winners are: First place: The Luck of the Irish by Paula Uhlir, Second Place: BWC Members Bloom Where They're Planted by Dawn Kincaid, Third Place: Racing Through Life's Challenges by Becky Pair.
