About Us

In November 1973, a group of six women met to organize a new women’s club for Brentwood. These ambitious women worked on a charter to comply with the GFWC Tennessee Federation of Women’s Club’s regulations and the Brentwood Woman’s Club was born. The Club was recognized the following March as part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the largest, non-denominational, non-partisan international service organization of women volunteers.

Today we have a membership of fifty-two women and have become a strong influence in the city of Brentwood, Williamson County, and Middle Tennessee. The Brentwood Woman’s Club enjoys an outstanding reputation within our community for our tireless support of many charities in Williamson and Davidson Counties, as well as diligently supporting our schools.

Today we continue to support social issues that impact women and families with programs with varied concentrations from the arts, conservation, education, home life, international outreach, and public issues. Our project list is as varied as our membership.
